Rukaya Mumini is a senior nursing officer at the Ga West Municipal Hospital in Accra, Ghana. She works as a registered nurse and a public health officer at the Sub National level of Ghana Health Service.

Rukaya was announced as one of the winners of the Nursing Now Challenge Global Solutions Initiatives, in partnership with the Sabin Vaccine Institute, to elevate the voices and perspectives of nurses and midwives with the aim of influencing discussions and decisions on vaccine equity and acceptance at local, national and global levels.
