Rafiat Akinokun is a registered nurse and midwife with a bachelor’s degree in nursing science. She currently delivers immunization and maternal and child health services in Ilorin, the North Central part of Nigeria.

Rafiat was announced as one of the winners of the Nursing Now Challenge Global Solutions Initiatives, in partnership with the Sabin Vaccine Institute, to elevate the voices and perspectives of nurses and midwives with the aim of influencing discussions and decisions on vaccine equity and acceptance at local, national and global levels.
