Martha Ndiko Ngoe
My journey of immunization for over 10 years has taken me from facility level to the sub-national (provincial) level, where I now serve as the Bureau Chief of International vaccination and travel medicine, and the Ministry of Health, Cameroon, where I am so passionate about reaching every target through community engagement. My focus is also on epidemiological surveillance with responding to outbreaks and epidemics inclusive. I am not just interested in being an end-user of vaccines, but also looking forward to contributing to vaccine development, especially vaccines against neglected tropical diseases (mostly parasitic infections) focusing on cryptosporidiosis. My motivation for reading cellular and molecular parasitology as a PhD candidate.
