Lucy Kiarie

My name is Lucy Kiarie from Kenya. I have over five years working in the Immunization Field having worked with various International Non-Profit organizations such as John Snow Inc.; The African Population Health Research Center; Sabin Vaccine Institute and Clinton Health Access Initiative. I hold a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree (First Class Honors) in Environmental Studies and Community Development from Kenyatta University, Kenya. I have a strong research and writing background and have particularly enjoyed using the problem solving approach to identify useful and practical solutions to increase vaccine uptake as well as building the capacities of communities about the benefits of vaccines and using evidence to inform health workers about identified challenges affecting vaccine coverage and in the process designing tailored strategies.
