Elena Tureac graduated the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “N. Testemitanu” in 1995 from Chisinau with a degree in prophylactic medicine. From 1995-1996, she worked as an internal physician at the Public Health Center in Balti. She is currently an epidemiologist and head of the Transmissible Disease Control at the Balti Public Health Center in Moldova.
